Senior Safety Program

The Senior Safety Program aims to ensure a society of seniors enjoying a comfortable quality of life.


Program Goals:

  • Increase the sense of connection seniors feel with their communities.
  • Increase the number of seniors provided with safety and security information.
  • Increase partnerships of senior serving providers and encourage referrals, combined projects and senior focused events.

Services Provided:


Home Visits:

Our coordinator meets with seniors in their home to help address specific safety, security and welfare concerns.

Community Presentations / Events:
Our coordinator is happy to deliver a variety of safety presentations to community or seniors groups.

Special Events:
Our coordinator plans events throughout the year. Past events have included Community Coffee Breaks, Free Shredding, Safety Presentations and Senior Safety Skittles.
